Value Proposition Development

I help and mentor startups to define exactly what products/services they will be offering their own clients and customers . It is so important to be able to describe the business offer BEFORE setting up a marketing strategy to win clients.

I will support and guide you to create a structured customer value proposition, using exercises to test your offer, create potential target customers, detailing the needs you will be fixing for them and the unique benefits that you can provide.

Can you answer these questions right now?

  • Why should customers believe in my business/brand?

  • What is my client’s next best alternative? How am I better?

  • What capabilities do I need to have to deliver?

I will guide you to create a single at-a-glance view of your customer value proposition, that can then be used to develop marketing messages, brand identity and visuals, promotion and advertising, etc.

What Does It Involve?

My Foundation programme is a 3-session plan - a set of interactive, live one-to-one workshops - they are not pre-recorded!

They will focus on:

SESSION 1 - getting a structure and clarity about the precise products/services you are going to offer and how they will be delivered

SESSION 2 - looking at your target audience - who they are, understand what their needs are, sizing the market, building a client base.

SESSION 3 - marketing and pricing - identifying which channels you will use to go to market (e.g. telephone, face-to-face, website, email), what materials you will need for each + how to identify your fee level and the range of profit margin you need

Before each session, I will also prepare some tasks for you to complete so that we get the best value from our time together in the session.

What Does It Cost?

The fee for the three foundation sessions is just £395 + VAT.

In addition to the three sessions, you’ll also get a fourth Q&A session completely free-of-charge. This is an opportunity to iron out any practical issues you may have about starting up or running a company, including topics such as which accountancy software to choose, getting insurance, website and email hosting, professional accreditation, budgeting templates, bank accounts, etc.

I will provide you with recommendations for each of these (no commission!), and useful links to resources.

Everything in the bonus session is really important, but I encourage you not to worry about this until we have worked through sessions 1-3 and you have a viable business proposition first!

Beyond that, I hope you will choose to continue working with me either on a regular or ad hoc basis, whichever suits you better. But that is entirely up to you of course.
