Turning Prospects-into-Clients - a four-session programme for Service Businesses

This programme is specifically designed for businesses that have ‘clients’ rather than transactional customers. I’m talking about small business service providers like consultants, trainers, coaches, IT experts - essentially professionals that offer higher-end services on an ongoing basis.

The programme is a set of interactive, live one-to-one workshops - they are not pre-recorded! I will guide you through how to turn prospects into clients - it provides the structure and the direction. It is NOT a CRM system, although I recommend using it in tandem with one (a free one like HubSpot works just fine).

For those that have already completed my Foundation Programme for Proposition Development, you will already have your target client profile and clear set of USP-based benefits defined as the core of your client offer. This is the starting point of this programme.

The programme sessions will include:

  • Getting Attention - how to land your marketing message

  • Exploring benefits with prospects

  • Choosing what the client needs and closing the deal

  • Finalising the ‘paperwork’ and money in the bank!

The purpose of the programme is explain, experiment and learn this structure, to enable you to build and develop client relationships.

What Does It Involve?

Before session 1, we will have an on boarding session together. This is designed for me to learn about your business, and understand your proposition, target client profile and key benefits. I will then use this information to tailor the programme sessions as much as possible to make each one appropriate , personalised and relevant. This mirrors how you will learn to market and sell to your prospects.

Before each session, I will prepare some tasks for you to complete so that we get the best value from our time together in the session.

Sessions typically take 75 mins, and currently these are being conducted virtually on Zoom, due to the pandemic. I hope to reinstate face-to-face meetings as an option later in 2021.

What Does It Cost?

The fee for the four session programme is just £495 + VAT.

Throughout the programme, you can expect to remain in regular contact with me by email, phone or to jump on a quick Zoom meeting. I actively encourage participants to ask questions, share ideas and feedback. The programme structure will take you a little while to get used to, and so the more interaction we have in-between sessions, the easier you’ll reach that familiarity.

Along the way, I will also provide you with impromptu recommendations and useful links to resources - this is entirely based on the precise nature of your business, and whatever examples, case studies and articles I think will help you.

Beyond the 4-session programme, I hope you will choose to continue working with me either on a regular or ad hoc basis, whichever suits you better. But that is entirely up to you of course.
